At RECO USA we are continuing to monitor the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation, and would like to update you on the actions RECO USA is taking. Hopefully this will address any concerns you may have about any open requests or orders you have pending with us.
Following the guidance of public health officials, we are taking many preventive measures that include increased cleaning, hand washing, and sanitizing of our office, plant, and shipping facility and all production employees are wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) as an added precaution. We are also encouraging any employee who thinks they may have been exposed to COVID-19, or is not feeling well, to stay at home and self-quarantine.
Along with this, we have instituted a company-wide work-from-home program for all employees able to do this. For those that can’t work from home, they are working staggered shifts and staggered days to minimize all interpersonal contacts as much as possible. All internal meetings have also been cancelled.
So far, we have not seen any decline in our response time to customers, or extended production times for our goods. However, many things are beyond our control, such as a government mandated partial or outright closure, which would add to the challenge.
